Open Call for Script Submissions

Last month, we announced an “Open Call” for short-play submissions, where one or more scripts would be produced and performed for local schools this Spring. Our plans have shifted slightly, and in our opinion, are headed in a direction that is even more exciting than before! This shift, however, entails some important changes to the script submission requirements, which I will detail below. 

UPDATED SHORT FILM SCRIPT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

• 5-7 pages in length
• Film should ideally take place in a modern, realistic setting
• Film should take place in no more than 2 locations
• Include (at most) 4 main characters
• Contain “PG” content
• New Submission Deadline will be in Early May (exact date TBA)

The selected winners will have their scripts transformed into a ~5 minute short film that will be showcased at a brand new Film Festival! More details will be revealed at a later date.
